The SixtyOne Mosh Pit
What is The SixtyOne? (http://www.thesixtyone.com)
t61 is a social music website where you can discover new music. You give your favourite music hearts to help the musicans get the attention you think they deserve, for this effort you are rewarded with reputation which helps you get up to the next level. Another way of gaining reputation is to receive achievements, such as the mosh pit. Mosh pit is achieved by listening to t61 when there are at least 5000 other listeners. Today a more or less organized attempt at achieving mosh pit has already started:

Marvel at the movies
Marvel, it seems, can do no wrong at the movies. Sure it produces some duds now and then, Elektra is an example of this, but it’s still a box office juggernaut and as I write this they have at least 18 movies in different stages of production. So raising up a storm at the box office is something they’re good at and that probably won’t change in a while.
But it hasn’t always been like this, Marvel used to suck! The punisher (1989), Captain America (1990), The Fantastic Four (1994) and Nick Fury: Agent of Shield (1998) probably doesn’t fill Avi Arad and Stan “The Man” Lee with pryde…
But something started to change in 1998, Blade was released and two years later X-Men hit the big screen. In 2002 Spider-Man was released and Marvel had the beginnings of three very profitable movie series, Blade seems to have come to an end, but movies such as X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men Origins: Magneto and Spider-Man 4 will probably continue the winning streak of our favorite comic book company.
The near future of Marvels movie production seems to be safe, but is really Iron Fist, Deathlok, Nick Fury and Ant-Man famous enough to draw in the crowds?

Newspapers
I love newspapers, ironically not because of the news, but because of the in depth articles about things I’m interested in. A good article for me has a lot of text and often it makes me want to travel, maybe it’s about a family thats planning a trip or about a gallery somewhere that sounds interesting. And it should have large photographs taken by people that have ambitions beyond simply “capturing reality”.
These articles are few and far between, you might think, but actually there’s quite allot of them, you just need to take the time too look. Sunday is the perfect day to go on such an exploration, sit down in your favorite chair with a cup of tea and dig in. The good article turns up in a lot of strange places, it might be in a paper more known for writing about car crashes and celebrities than anything with substance. It might actually conceal itself as story about a celebrity, celebrities sometimes have stories to tell as well, not just gossip. It might even turn up in one of those free papers that you get in cities around the world, it’s very gratifying to find good articles in places like that. Come to think of it, it’s very gratifying to find good articles anywhere!
Another nice place to read a good article is on the train at night after a long visit to the big city, traveling by train is very stimulating, the landscape that flies by keeps your brain alert without taking the focus away from the words in the paper. This and the fact that you are basically confined to the place you are sitting gives you an opportunity to digest the meaning of the article in ways you might not do elsewhere.
